Glendale Library Foundation Gala

The new Glendale Library Foundation is celebrating its creation as well as Central Library’s renovation and re-opening with a Gala at the Central Library three days before the public grand re-opening. The gala is set for Friday, April 28, 6-9pm, at the Central Library.

Foundation President Joylene Wagner writes: “The Foundation is just beginning to explore how best to build on the legacy of Robert Seiden, who most of us never knew but whose bequest ushered in our existence.

Our purpose is plain: to raise funds and support major library projects like the MakerSpace, so our library can continue to expand knowledge, explore opportunities, and enrich lives.

Our board is excited about the upcoming opportunity to participate in the Friends’ annual meeting as we hear from Lisa Napoli about another family’s story of bequests.
