Glendale’s Beeline buses have stops convenient to six of our city’s eight library facilities, conveniently located throughout the city.
Friends Board members took the Beelne to several of those stops recently.
Check out the best transit route to the closest branch, and check out the great resources and programs offered by our library system!
Routes 1 and 2 stop at Stocker St. / Brand Blvd., steps away from the Casa Verdugo Branch.
Route 3 stops at Harvard St. / Louise St. at Central Library; and at Honolulu St. / Orangedale Ave. near the Montrose Branch
Route 4 stops at Harvard St. / Louise St. at Central Library; and at Chevy Chase Dr., / Adams St. near the Adams Square Connection
Route 5 stops at Pacific Ave. / Riverdale Dr. and Pacific Ave. / Vine St. near the Pacific Park Branch
Route 7’s Glenoaks Blvd./Justin Ave. stop is one block away from the Grandview Branch.
While Central Library’s renovation continues, branch locations have expanded hours.
When renovation and construction is completed in and around Central Library, it will be a great destination for pedestrians and transit users. The Paseo and pedestrian walkways will connect new North and South entrances to downtown Glendale, Brand Blvd., and multiple transit stops of the Beeline and Metro systems!
Thanks to the City of Glendale Community Development Department for the Beeline Tour and for managing our local transit service.
