We celebrated the Central Park Paseo opening several weeks ago, but pictures of the event were taken after dark. Here’s a recent photo of the Paseo at sunset that shows off its design and plantings, with Glendale resident Emilie Pallos in the foreground to provide a sense of scale.
The background in this picture features a green construction fence and a utility building that currently holds the Central Library’s HVAC and other systems. This structure will be demolished and replaced by an extended pedestrian path connecting to the Central Library’s new South Entrance. We can’t wait for the increased visibility and pleasant pedestrian parkway access from Brand Blvd. directly to the library!
